"About me" pages always freak me out. I never know what to say. I am kind of a boring person who is trying to be less so. I have always dreamed of writing, and this blog is an attempt to stop dreaming and start doing, even if I am the only one who ever reads it. I am also the kind of person who hates conflict, and as such, I also tend to avoid saying what I think to keep things civil. I am kind of tired of feeling muzzled. This blog is me removing my muzzle.
I am a woman, a feminist, and a religious and political liberal. I have traveled a weird religious and political path, and I feel like it gives me a unique perspective, because I have been on both sides of the aisle, in both the religious and political sense. I am so, so, so, so interested in religion and why people believe what they do. As for me, I am finding my own path.
I am a mother of one daughter. I may or may not have any more kids (before you even ask). I have a husband who is pretty rad. In my day job, I am an assistant who dabbles in marketing.
